John A. White   Owner - Instructor

Fleet Pro Seminars was founded by John A. White in 1996 after spending 2 years as the lead brake system instructor for Fleetpride, Inc.  John brings you over 30 years of a wide and varied background in commercial vehicle maintenance and repair as provider to the industry and as an owner and operator of his own fleet.

 John’s career in the industry began as a parts manger for International and Ford dealerships before embarking on his 17 year career at Fleetpride, Inc.  At Fleetpride, John held several managerial positions including parts manager, service manager, branch manger and sales manager.  John was a key member of the management team that led Fleetpride through its expansion to 12 locations and 20% a year parts sales growth.

 John operated a tour bus company for xx years purchased coaches, rebuilt them to specifications, provided drivers and leased them to Broadway shows and entertainment groups.  At one point John and his partners operated xx coaches that logged nearly 1 million miles.  John has also worked as a District Fleet Manager for a large national food distributor providing his expertise in developing business relationships with maintenance providers, driver training and compliance with safety issues.

 John attended several industry-leading technical training sessions including those sponsored by Euclid Industries, Bendix, Midland and Arvin Meritor.  John successfully completed a 40-hour certificate program sponsored by the state of New York designating him as a “qualified brake instructor” as provided by the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration.  He is updated regularly through his association with component manufacturers and active participation in industry groups such as the Technology & Maintenance Council, Suspension Specialists Association, and Commercial Vehicle Safety Association.

 John has trained hundreds of technicians, law enforcement officers, fleet managers and maintenance providers and has participated in dozens of legal proceedings providing expert witness testimony and litigation support involving commercial motor vehicles.  John is registered with the -------------.

 Currently, John operates Fleet Pro Seminars and is a principal partner in Fleet Technologies & Services, LLC which focuses on high-technology products for commercial vehicle fleets and, through its consulting division, provides assistance to fleets in asset management, fleet maintenance, aftermarket parts and equipment purchasing and disposal as well as safety and compliance matters.  Visit www.fleetechnology.com
